00Cr22Ni13Mn5Mo2N stainless steel has a perfect combination of corrosion resistance and strength that no other commercial material has. The corrosion resistance of this austenitic stainless steel is superior to alloys 316, 316L, 317, and 317L, and the yield strength at room temperature is about twice that of these alloys. In addition, 00Cr22Ni13Mn5Mo2N has excellent mechanical properties at high and sub-zero temperatures, which is different from most austenitic stainless steels. 00Cr22Ni13Mn5Mo2N will not be magnetic under low temperature conditions. The high-strength (HS) 00Cr22Ni13Mn5Mo2N yield strength is approximately three times that of 316 stainless steel.
