Nitronic 50 features:
Nitronic 50 stainless steel has the perfect combination of corrosion resistance and strength not found in any other commercial material. The corrosion resistance of this austenitic stainless steel is better than alloys 316, 316L, 317, and 317L, and the yield strength at room temperature is about twice that of these alloys. In addition, Nitronic 50 has excellent mechanical properties at both high and low temperatures, which is different from most austenitic stainless steels. Nitronic 50 is also non-magnetic at low temperatures. The high-strength (HS) Nitronic 50 has approximately three times the yield strength of 316 stainless steel.
