W.Nr. 1.4565 features:
W.Nr. 1.4565 stainless steel has the perfect combination of corrosion resistance and strength not found in any other commercial materials. The corrosion resistance of this austenitic stainless steel is superior to alloys 316, 316L, 317, and 317L, and the yield strength at room temperature is about twice that of these alloys. In addition, W.Nr. 1.4565 has excellent mechanical properties at high and minus low temperatures, which is different from most austenitic stainless steels. W.Nr. 1.4565 will not be magnetic under low temperature conditions. The high-strength (HS) W.Nr. 1.4565 yield strength is approximately three times that of 316 stainless steel.
