Alloy GH2132 is designed for applications requiring both high strength and good corrosion resistance in high-temperature environments up to 704 ° C.
The toughness of the cut section of GH2132 is very good. In fact, GH2132's notch breaking strength is better than other commercial alloys with similar high temperature performance. A major advantage of this material is that it can achieve precipitation hardening and strengthening through heat treatment.

GH2132 (GH132) iron nickel chromium base superalloy application
GH2132 iron-nickel-chromium-based superalloys are widely used, including bars, round cakes, ring blanks, plates, bars and other varieties, and the use temperature is 600 ~ 950 ℃. Used to manufacture load-bearing components for aerospace, aviation, gas turbines and other industries, such as turbine blades, turbine disk die forgings, fasteners and ring blanks, etc.
GH2132 (GH132) iron nickel chromium base superalloy solution treatment
GH2132 can use the following two heat treatment methods:
1. Heat to 982 ° C, hold for 1 hour, then cool quickly
2. Heat to 899 ° C, hold for 2 hours, then cool quickly
Using the first method, the material can increase the cracking strength after aging. The second method can improve toughness and hardness.
GH2132 (GH132) iron nickel chromium base superalloy alloy aging
Heat to 704-760 ° C, keep it warm for 12-16 hours, and then cool in air. The hardness after treatment is about 300BHN. After solution treatment at 899 ° C, sometimes two rounds of precipitation hardening treatment are carried out, namely heating to 704/760 ° C, holding for 16 hours, then air cooling to 649 ° C, holding for 8-12 hours, and then air cooling. This treatment can increase the cracking strength of the notch, while improving toughness and hardness.

Thermal processing
GH2132 can be rolled and forged in the temperature range of 1038-1121 ° C. During hot working, A286 is slightly more resistant to deformation than austenitic stainless steel. Do not forge below 927 ° C.
Cold working
GH2132 in solid solution can be cold drawn and cold formed. The processing difficulty is slightly greater than 316 and 310, and the cold work hardening speed is very fast.
