GH4080A (GH80A) nickel-based superalloy overview
GH80A is based on nickel-chromium and added aluminum and titanium to form a γ ′ phase dispersion-strengthened superalloy. It is similar to GH4033 except for a slightly higher aluminum content. The operating temperature is 700-800 ° C, and it has a good temperature at 650-850 ° C. Creep resistance and oxidation resistance. The alloy has good cold and hot workability. It mainly supplies hot-rolled bar, cold-drawn bar, hot-rolled sheet, cold-rolled sheet, strip and ring, etc. It is used to manufacture engine rotor blades, guide blade supports, bolts, Blade lock plate and other parts.

The bar for blades is: 1080 ℃ ± 10 ℃, 8h, air cooling + 700 ℃ ± 5 ℃, 16h, air cooling. Hot-rolled, forged and cold-drawn bars: proceed as specified in Table 1-2. Rolling ring: (1050 ~ 1080 ℃) ± 10 ℃, not more than 2h, water cooling + 750 ℃ ± 5 ℃ (or + 700 ℃ ± 5 ℃), 4h (or 16h), air cooling. The hot-rolled sheet, cold-rolled sheet and strip are: supply state + 750 ℃ ± 10 ℃, 4h, air cooling.
