SUSXM7 corresponds to the national standard 0Cr18Ni9Cu3. It is a low-carbon, low-nitrogen, low-sulfur, 304 deformed steel with a high copper content and easy forming. It is generally used for products with high deformation such as hexagon sockets, carriage screws, and self-tapping screws. It is similar to 302HQ in terms of chemical composition specifications. For price reasons, it appears as a substitute for 302HQ, but in actual use, there are still differences. One penny and one penny are mainly manifested in the stronger magnetism than the real 302HQ. , The processing performance in the small wire diameter is quite different, such as processing glasses small screws, it is best to use the real Nippon Steel 302HQ material [1] material. Of course, if the requirements are not very strict, XM7 is still a good choice. The chemical composition of SUSXM7 and SUS302HQ differs mainly in some trace elements. From the main components of stainless steel wire, their specifications are very similar, and there is basically no difference. However, in actual use, it can be judged in terms of magnetic properties and processability, but this requires experience. If you want to make a clear determination, it is best to do material testing. Because XM7 and 302HQ have similar main components, many manufacturers also refer to XM7 as 302HQ.
