TA4, TA5, TA6, TA7, TA8, TB2 α-type titanium alloy characteristics and applications:
TA4 titanium alloy has a slightly higher tensile strength than industrial pure titanium, and can be used as a structural material in the medium strength range. Mainly used as welding wire in China.
TA5 and TA6 titanium alloys are used for parts and welding parts working in corrosive media below 400 ℃, such as aircraft skins, skeleton parts, compressor casings, blades, ship parts, etc.
TA7 titanium alloy is used for long-term working structures and structural parts below 500 ℃ and various die forgings, which can reach 900 ℃ for a short time. Can also be used as ultra-low temperature (-253 ℃) parts (such as containers for ultra-low temperature)
TA8 titanium alloy is used for long-term working parts below 500 ℃, which can be used to manufacture engine compressor disks and blades; however, the alloy has poor structural stability and is limited in use.
The parts of TB2 titanium alloy working below 350 ℃ are mainly used to manufacture all kinds of overall heat treatment (solid solution, aging) sheet stamping parts and welding parts; such as heavy-duty rotating parts such as compressor blades, wheel discs, shafts, etc., and Structural parts of aircraft, etc.
TB2 alloy is generally delivered in the state of solution treatment and used after solution and aging.
