● Characteristics and scope of application:

S43400 stainless steel is an improved steel grade of S43000, which is more resistant to salt solutions than S43000.

Elongation δ5 (%): ≥22

Section shrinkage ψ (%): ≥60

Hardness: ≤183HB

 

● Heat treatment specifications and metallographic structure:

Heat treatment specifications: annealing or slow cooling at 780 ~ 850 ℃.

Metallographic structure: The structure is characterized by ferrite type.

 

● Delivery status:

Generally, it is delivered in a heat-treated state, and the type of heat treatment is specified in the contract; if it is not specified, it is delivered in a non-heat-treated state.
