Inconel 617

Inconel 617 alloy overview:

Inconel 617 is a nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloy with excellent mechanical properties at high temperatures. The alloy has high temperature corrosion resistance such as oxidation and carbonization. Inconel 617 alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in the field of hot corrosion such as sulfurized environment, especially in the oxidation and carbonization environment with a cycle up to 1100 ° C. These corrosion resistance combined with excellent mechanical properties make this alloy particularly suitable for high temperature applications. In addition, the higher nickel, chromium and molybdenum content makes the alloy have good corrosion resistance in most aggressive media.

Inconel 617 applications:

Inconel 617 is suitable for high temperature and extremely high mechanical stress applications. The recommended use temperature is not more than 1000 ℃. At the same time, Inconel 617 is suitable for occasions that need to reduce weight, such as processing of thin-walled structural components.
