Hastelloy N Hastelloy Overview:

Hastelloy N hastelloy is a nickel-based superalloy composed of nickel, molybdenum, chromium and other elements, and the nickel content is about 72%. Hastelloy N has good oxidation resistance and a melting temperature range of 1300 ~ 1600 ° F (704 to 871 ° C). In more than two years, the N value of Hastelloy N will involve fluoride most useful in high temperature environments. Hastelloy N has good oxidation resistance in air. Metallographic examination showed that the elements in Alloy N remained in the range of 1100 to 1600 ° in the solid solution, and the tensile test showed no tendency to embrittlement.

Hastelloy N has good weldability and can be easily welded. The alloy has a thermal operating range between 1600 and 2150 ° F (871 to 1177 ° C), and it has been successfully extruded and further processed into high-quality seamless steel tubes for manufacturing, welding, and drawing tubes. After solution heat treatment, Hastelloy N alloy parts can be hot-worked or cold-worked.
