Only when controlled according to the specified temperature, time and cooling rate, the ideal performance can be obtained.
3. Welding: The welding of SUS632 precipitation hardening steel is the same as that of general stainless steel. Arc welding, resistance welding and gas shielded welding can be used, and gas shielded welding is the best. Welding is generally performed in the solid solution treatment state of the material. Pre-heating is not required before welding, and it is best to perform heat treatment after welding. When the weld requires high strength, 17-7 steel wire with low δ-ferrite content is mostly used. When the weld strength is not high and the corrosion resistance is high, austenitic stainless steel wire can be used.
