SUS630 stainless steel is a precipitation, hardened, martensitic stainless steel composed of copper, niobium / rhenium. In the environment up to 539 ° C, SUS630 still shows good anti-oxidation performance. Precipitation-hardened stainless steels exhibit reduced toughness if exposed to elevated temperatures for extended periods of time. Sometimes higher aging temperatures can minimize toughness reduction. If the maximum temperature is at least 28 ° C lower than the aging temperature, short-term exposure to high temperatures is feasible. The corrosion resistance of SUS630 is better than that of 400 series stainless steel. For most corrosive substances, the resistance of SUS630 is close to 302 and 304 stainless steel. Through 552 ° C or higher hardening treatment can provide good resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Because the material has good corrosion resistance and high hardness, SUS630 can also withstand wear and corrosion. In order to ensure the best corrosion resistance, the surface of the material should be completely removed from debris, lubricants, foreign materials, coatings used for drawing or forging. After the parts are processed, they should be cleaned and passivated.
