00Cr18Ni5Mo3Si2 steel has good weldability, low tendency to thermal cracking and small tendency to embrittlement.

 

00Cr18Ni5Mo3Si2 duplex stainless steel corrosion resistance:

00Cr18Ni5Mo3Si2 steel has better stress corrosion resistance than 304 or 316 austenitic stainless steel. In high-concentration MgCl2 solution, it has higher sensitivity to stress corrosion cracking and excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. However, in the case of high-temperature sensitization heating or welding, once a single-phase ferrite structure appears, it is still sensitive to intergranular corrosion.
